In Years 11 and 12, students can study for their Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or for a Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL). Each of these pathways has associated outcomes with VCE being an academic pathway usually leading onto Tertiary studies, while VCAL leads into apprenticeships, traineeships and other workforce choices.
There are a huge range of subjects available for both courses. Students can pursue areas of interest and develop a program that allows them to meet their desired pathway. Subjects available include VET subjects such as Certificate II Hospitality, Certificate II Building & Construction, Certificate II Hair and Beauty and Certificate II in Engineering. A wide range of VCE studies are available for students to choose from.
